Workshops slipcasting

Come and learn all about slip casting with porcelain!
There are three different options for workshops. The workshop date and time will be scheduled on appointment. The workshop can take during working days, evenings or weekend. The workshop can be attended by a minimum of three people and a maximum of five people. Send me an email with your requests. 

During the workshops below you will learn all the inns and outs of slipcasting porcelain. We will work with a few different colors to create different effects. The workshop will suit to everyone who is interested in ceramics. All supplies including porcelain, plaster, pigments, tools, glazing and fires are provided. And of course some drink and snacks. 


Afternoon slipcasting
During this workshop you create your own coffee set with existing moulds. The set consist of two cups and two small plates. After the slipcasting workshop, Milou will finish, bisque fire, glaze and high fire the works. After the high-firing you can pick up the works by appointment. 
Duration: 1 x 3 hours
Costs: €115 per person.

Two times - slipcasting and glazing
During this workshop you create your own coffee set with existing moulds. The first class we will slipcast two cups and two small plates. The works will get bisque fired and the second class we will finish and glaze the works. After the high-firing you can pick up the works by appointment. 
Duration: 2 x 3 hours
Costs: €160 per person.

Three times - mould making, slipcasting and glazing
The first lesson you will make a simple one piece plaster mold of an object by choice. The second lesson you will slipcast the mould with pigmented porcelain and we try to pour as many times as possible what the mould can handle. The last class the pieces have to be finished and glazed. After the high-firing you can pick up the works by appointment. You bring the mold home so you can use it more often.
Duration: 2 x 3 hours, and last glazing session 1.5 hours.
Costs: €225 per person.
